Lead Power Generation Field Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
• Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes
• Use low and high voltage load banks for testing and repair of generator sets
• Determine corrective action through inspection of failed parts
• Order replacement parts and services in efficient and effective manner
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs to the engine, generator, or components
• Perform startup and commissioning on large genset units with automatic transfer switches

Requirements

• Years of previous experience as a technician

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety and cleanliness
• Ability to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present
• Physical ability to work in areas with temperature and/or humidity extremes

Skills

• Electrical and mechanical repairs
• Generator set diagnostics and repairs
• Load bank operation and maintenance

Pay

• $42.00 + Per Hour

Schedule

• Technician roles are physically demanding and require prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
