About the role

Join the City Wide Facility Solutions Team! We're seeking a Lead Building Cleaner/Lead Housekeeper to oversee daily cleaning operations at Unity Village.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the daily cleaning team
• Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to company quality standards
• Inspect completed work and maintain high cleanliness standards
• Train and assist new team members
• Clean offices, hallways, common areas, restrooms, kitchens, and other assigned spaces
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize all designated areas
• Restock janitorial and restroom supplies
• Report maintenance issues and communicate with supervisors
• Promote a safe, organized, and professional work environment

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old and successfully pass a background & E-Verify checks
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Lead or supervisor experience
• Must be reliable, willing to work at a fast pace, and be very detailed
• Cleaning experience is a plus
• Able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor's directions
• High School Diploma or GED
• Smart Phone
• Valid driver's licence and own vehicle

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of this position include: walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting and repeat cleaning motions; utilizing cleaning equipment and supplies; lift up to 35 lbs.
