Lead - Platform Solution Architecture
What you'll do
- Lead the design and development of comprehensive, scalable, and secure solutions leveraging cloud technologies (AWS preferred, experience with other cloud ecosystems a plus).
- Analyze business needs and translate them into technically sound and cost-effective solutions.
- Select and implement appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools for solution development.
- Develop and maintain architectural standards and best practices for cloud solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Participate in architecture reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Optimize existing ETL pipelines and design new ones for efficient data movement.
- Leverage Spark for large-scale data processing tasks.
- Possess strong expertise in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java) in addition to scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (development, operations, business stakeholders) to ensure successful solution implementation.
- Mentor and guide junior solution architects within the team.
- Stay current on emerging cloud technologies and best practices.
What you’ll bring
- Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Solution Architect with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex enterprise solutions.
- Experience working with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
- Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of ETL pipelines, SQL optimization techniques, and Spark for big data processing.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java) and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
