About the role

We are seeking a Lead Planning Engineer for a large-scale engineering and construction project in the pharmaceutical sector. This role focuses on developing and overseeing project schedules, managing planning activities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules that incorporate engineering, construction, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with quality assurance, engineering, and operational teams to ensure alignment of planning efforts with overall project goals
  • Monitor project progress and planning activities to identify potential delays or risks and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency in planning activities
  • Use project management software to track progress, analyse data, and ensure efficient execution of planning activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and implement best practices for effective scheduling

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or project management certifications are preferred
  • 5+ years of project planning and scheduling experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector or similar projects
  • Ability to foster a positive team environment and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical planning and scheduling standards
  • Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in project management tools for data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying project plans and requirements
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on industry trends and best practices
  • Must have EU citizenship
