Lead Physical Therapy Technician - OakBend Physical Therapy: Katy - Full Time

About the role

Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician will be utilized in supervised patient treatments and in maintaining the PT department in a clean and orderly manner.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Maintain a clean and orderly PT department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education may be considered.
• Graduation from a technical program preferred.
• Previous experience in Physical Therapy clinic preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or another pre-approved accredited certification program.

Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities

• Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care.
• Successful completion of department specific and/or hospital required training courses.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
