Lead Pharmacy Technician
About the role
The Lead Pharmacy Technician at Sanford Health is responsible for managing pharmacy practices to ensure timely, cost-effective, and efficient medication delivery. They assist pharmacists in various tasks and oversee workflow improvements.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in compounding, preparing, and dispensing medical prescriptions.
- Control inventory levels and ensure proper storage and security of drugs.
- Manage billing functions and assist with quality assurance.
- Provide guidance and support to other pharmacy technicians.
- Educate others on emerging changes and guide daily tasks.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- Two years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Active pharmacy technician registration in state(s) of practice.
- Nationally certified as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or NHA).
Qualifications

Pay
$21.50 - $34.50 per hour.
Schedule
Full time, 8 Hours - Day Shifts, 40.00 weekly hours.
