Lead Personal Care Assistant

We need you at The Ashford of Sturbridge in Hillard, Ohio as a Lead Personal Care Assistant! Come be a part of the Wallick team - where we are making a difference in residents’ lives. Responsibilities

• Schedules and completes the task assignment sheet in coordination with the PCA staff.
• Attends weekly manager meetings.
• Sits in on family / resident care conferences.
• Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Answers call lights in a timely manner and responds accordingly to the resident’s needs.
• Knows proper technique for first aid.
• Assists in maintaining a positive environment for the residents.
• Motivates and encourages resident involvement in activities.
• Assists residents to and from activities.
• Re‑directs residents as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in operating a computer.
• Organized and self‑motivated.
• Completion of first aid training and certification.
• Ability to communicate in writing and verbally with peers, visitors and supervisor.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Ability to apply basic math skills.

Qualifications

• First Aid/CPR Certified.

Pay

Competitive and negotiable pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time position with guaranteed hours and complete schedule flexibility.
