Job Summary
The Lead person role is to provide direction and support to ensure all tasks and objectives are completed successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge and understanding of all tasks within a department.
- Using tools such as a hook, knife and equipment to safely and properly dress carcasses.
- Communicate with employees and management to quickly and effectively resolve production issues or concerns.
- If contamination is present, use a hook and knife to remove any visible contamination.
- Follow proper sanitation procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be able to work in a humid, hot, wet, slippery, or moving surface at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience/knowledge of manufacturing environment.
- Previous heavy machinery experience in manufacturing environment.
- Previous agriculture production/beef plant experience.
Physical Demands
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects.
- Stand, walk, or sit.
- Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Reach with hands and arms.
