About the Role
The HCA HealthONE AirLife EMS team is a premier pre-hospital medical transport program located in Denver, Colorado. The AirLife EMS team operates a fleet of ground ambulances to care for and transport ill or injured patients throughout the Rocky Mountain region. AirLife includes a dedicated communication center that responds to and manages requests for medical transport across all modes of services. In coordination with AirLife's Critical Care team, which offers rotor and fixed-wing transport, our teams provide an integrated transport system with appropriate clinical care and transport type to any agency or facility needing medical transport.

Responsibilities
- Solve problems with the crew and manage crises.
- Handle interagency requests or disputes (e.g., fire department, hospital).
- Manage last-minute scheduling requests and coverage.
- Coordinate operational shift needs (stocking, training, etc.).
- Report momentous events or occurrences needing follow-up.
- Ensure a safe working environment for providers.
- Complete shift paperwork: daily shift log, vehicle accident logs, work injury reports, incident reports, etc.
- Keep the Chief Paramedic updated on issues, needs, and shift status.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current Colorado State Paramedic Certification or License (Colorado State EMD certification preferred).
- Current ACLS, National Registry Certification, and CPR.
- Three years of advanced life support ambulance experience.
- A combination of appropriate education and experience may substitute for minimum requirements.
