Responsibilities
- Support commissioning/qualification activities required to bring formulation suite into service as well as supporting site operational readiness activities.
- Provide subject matter expertise for the formulation and preparation equipment process.
- Lead the line (suite) during project phase, ensuring daily operations, requalification tasks, and compliance with all policies.
- Train future new hires and coordinate technical training for operators.
- Assist in development and performance evaluations of shift operators.
- Act as a key liaison between operation and support functions.
- Operate equipment and lead shift operations to meet production demands.
- Check execution documentation such as Mastercontrol, SAP, Cleaning Logs, etc.
- Drive key departmental objectives including safety performance, deviation reduction, productivity improvement, and training compliance.
- Be the backup for the Supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-5 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing (education may be substituted with manager discretion).
- Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to train and mentor peers.
- Effective communication (written and verbal).
- Flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Basic digital literacy (desktop software).
- Able to lift 45 lbs.
- Able to work 12-hour shifts with additional overtime as needed.
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
- Previous experience compounding/formulation in a Grade C environment.
