Job Responsibilities
- Knowledge of basic operating machinery
- Practice world class safety practices
- Participate in safety talks and quality stand down meetings
- Support quality containment and system purges
- May be assigned as internal auditor
- Operate machines such as lathes, machining centers, gun drills, and rack rolling machines
- Assist supervisor with manpower moves
- Write up scrap, evaluate and solve production problems
- Set-up and change over equipment as necessary
- Support engineering efforts for tool testing
- Assist engineering with process development and manufacturing work instructions
- Support prototyping activities
- Perform low levels of maintenance
- Train and supervise production operators
