Job Summary
We are seeking a Full-Time Lead Nurse to join our team at the PRTF. The Lead Nurse will oversee and plan healthcare for children and adolescents receiving residential treatment for behavioral health needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of health care professionals in providing nursing care to children overcoming trauma.
- Ensure all assessments are completed and medication management orders are fulfilled.
- Provide education to children and families about their care.
- Coordinate and complete health appointments and appointments with in-house medication providers.
- Ensure all documentation meets federal, state, and program requirements.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas.
- Experience preferred but not required.
- Must be 21 years of age and 3 years older than the oldest resident.
- Valid drivers license and meeting agency underwriting standards.
- Eligible for credentialing with Kansas Medicaid for billing needs.
