About the role

The Lead Neurodiagnostic Technologist coordinates all duties associated with the Neurodiagnostic Lab. They maintain staffing levels at budgeted levels, provide daily operational updates to the immediate supervisor, and offer input on program development and staff evaluations. They are expected to handle direct reports effectively and ensure accountability among team members.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain staffing levels at budgeted levels
  • Provide daily operational updates to the immediate supervisor

  • Deal with issues promptly and effectively
  • Perform neurodiagnostic procedures including routine & long-term EEGs and evoked potentials
  • Exercise professional judgment in exam performance and communicate with neurologists and other staff
  • May have on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • CPR Certification required
  • One or more of the following certifications: R.EEG.T, R.EP.T, C. LTM, CNIM
  • At least 1-3 years of job-related experience, preferably 3-5 years in EEG and EP
  • Knowledge of electrode application, pattern recognition, correlating patient history, neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and proficiency in EMR
  • Leadership skills
