About the role

The Lead Montessori Guide at Green Hedges School will be responsible for guiding the youngest learners in a nurturing, safe, and carefully prepared Montessori environment that supports independence, social development, fine and gross motor growth, and positive interactions with others.

Responsibilities

• Guide the development of independence and social skills in two-year-olds
• Create a safe and engaging Montessori environment
• Support physical and cognitive growth through activities and materials
• Collaborate with classroom assistants, other Montessori Guides, and student-support personnel
• Work closely with administrators and families to ensure a supportive learning environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Montessori certification or willingness to pursue certification
• Experience working with young children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Passion for Montessori education principles
• Excellent observational and assessment skills
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule
