About the role

Leading a classroom takes a special kind of skill. Montessori Certified Guides have been uniquely trained to deliver an authentic Montessori experience, encouraging children to be innovative and independent.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Montessori curriculum and facilitate engaging interactive learning experiences.
• Follow all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics.

Requirements

• Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program (MACTE preferred).
• Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school or related field, and previous lead teacher experience preferred.
• Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.

Skills

• Passionate about early childhood education and the Montessori method.
• Ability to observe, assess, and plan for children's needs.
• Effective communication skills with families.
• Proficient in Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development.
