About the role

Waterdown Montessori School is a CCMA-accredited institution with over 40 years of experience in the Burlington/Waterdown community. We are currently seeking a Guide/Directress to join our team, with the potential to start as an assistant.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Casa program
• Collaborate with other Montessori educators
• Maintain a positive and safe learning environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues

Requirements

• AMI or MACTE accredited diploma
• Previous Montessori experience
• Patience, positive attitude, kindness, friendly demeanor and love and respect for children
• Ability to work well with others
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent program planning skills and thorough knowledge of the Casa program
• Experience working in a collaborative Montessori environment
• Current criminal reference check
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Up-to-date medical records
• Two professional references provided
