Essential Responsibilities
- Aid in or conduct daily operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and general maintenance requirements for the buildings.
- Supervise maintenance staff when applicable.
- Perform preventive maintenance duties, such as changing filters, lubricating motors, replacing lamps, ballasts, and fixtures.
- Inspect and adjust belts, replace motor bearings, align shafts, and perform other inspections.
- Recommend improvements to the preventive maintenance program and develop and maintain effective building-specific maintenance procedures.
- Cook up and maintain coordination of maintenance efforts with outside contractors and technicians, and maintain stock and inventory control.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations, such as fires, evacuations, equipment failures, and customer concerns, and comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives.
- Inform the management team of current building operations by compiling and submitting monthly reports.
- Complete all required C&W Safety Training as scheduled annually.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance while on the property at times other than working hours.
- Perform other related duties as required or requested.

Education and Experience
- Requires 5 to 7 years of experience.
- High School Diploma, GED, trade, Technical, or Vocational school Bachelor’s degree preferred.

- Experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial setting.

The compensation for the position is: $44.95 - $52.88
About the Role
This position typically does not have a Chief Engineer on-site at the building and is sometimes the solo engineer at the building. This position may also include the supervision of maintenance staff at the building depending on the size and complexity of the assignment.
