Key Responsibilities

  • Safe servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of LTC Utility systems, including high purity water, compressed air, steam, chilled water, glycol, city water, and sewer systems.
  • Adherence to HSE standards and participation in safety initiatives.
  • Documentation of work following Good Documentation Practices.
  • Maintenance and updating of job plans and procedures.
  • Use of Performance Management systems to align personal objectives with organizational goals.
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance on utility equipment, including high and low voltage electrical gear.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Installation of new electrical components and process instrumentation.
  • Maintenance of up-to-date technical knowledge.
  • Mentoring and training of newly appointed Utility craft personnel.

Basic Requirements

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in Utilities.
  • Experience with high purity water, compressed air, steam, chilled water, glycol, city water, and sewer systems.
  • A strong electrical aptitude.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and perform outdoor tasks.

Additional Skills/Preferences

  • Associate’s degree or Technical Certificate in an electrical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Applicable military service training as an acceptable alternative.
  • Maintenance experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in English for technical and business communication.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
  • Accuracy in following written procedures.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Maintenance Shop tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Education Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

Other Information

  • This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with temporary shifts.
  • Hazardous operations include exposure to acid, steam, caustic substances, high pressure, and high temperatures.
  • Personal protective equipment is required at all times.
  • Work involves awkward positions, cramped quarters, ladders, and scaffolding.
  • Compensation depends on education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
  • The anticipated wage range is $24.51 - $49.71 per hour.
  • Eligible for a company bonus based on performance.
