Our highly skilled electrical technicians are capable of completing any electrical job necessary. Assured Power, Inc. is a growing full-service licensed electrical contractor serving Southeastern Wisconsin and Northeastern Illinois, looking to hire Electricians. Our Electricians work in a fast-paced environment and are the face of our organization in the field.
Responsibilities
- Installs, services, and repairs lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets, wiring, and specialized electrical equipment and machinery
- Diagnoses cause of electrical problems and failures for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair
- Informs personnel regarding procedures and/or work orders for the purpose of providing information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and/or complying with health and building regulations
- Inspects electrical systems and their components for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance
- Installs electrical system components (conductors, splice cable, lighting, alarms, electrical panels, switches, circuits) for the purpose of providing enhanced and/or upgraded electrical capabilities
- Lays underground conduit for electrical lines and installs low voltage electric lines and conduits for telephone systems
- Maintains assigned vehicle, equipment, and tools for the purpose of ensuring availability in a safe operating condition
- Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers
- Any other duties assigned by your supervisor/owner
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- 3 - 5 years of related experience
- Experience of electrical and control circuit knowledge
- Superb customer service skills
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory
- Ability to work some nights, weekend, and holidays for on-call rotation with your department (frequency varies with department size)
- Own industry's standard hand tools

Pay
Compensation range: $20-$45 per hour
