About the Role
As a Patient Services Team Lead at RadNet, you will join a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in 21st-century healthcare. You will lead a team of employees, providing training, inspiration, and guidance to help each team member develop their potential. With support from the center manager, you will coordinate work schedules, oversee front office operations, and assist in hiring for front office positions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of employees, providing training and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
- Coordinate work schedules and relieve staff for vacation or sick-time coverage.
- Greet incoming patients and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Act as a liaison between physicians and patients, ensuring smooth communication.
- Register patients, verify insurance and personal information, collect signatures, and ensure accuracy of documentation.
- Verify and update patient, physician, and insurance details to ensure proper billing; collect co-pays and fees.
- Answer phones and schedule patient appointments.
- Guide patients through the process, addressing their questions and concerns with kindness.
- Notify team members of patient arrivals and coordinate with back-office staff for timely care.
- Participate in meetings and assist in implementing procedures to streamline center operations.
- Lead or participate in projects to support center operations and quality patient care.
- Safeguard patient property and Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Secure on-site medications following company policies and legal guidelines.
- Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information.
- Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, responding to their needs with respect and diplomacy.
- Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with patients, families, and the public.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience as a Patient Service Representative within a radiology center.
- High school diploma.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Dynamic and knowledgeable leadership attributes.
- Ability to build and maintain a strong team environment.

Pay
$24.00 per hour.
