About the role
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Medical Operations and Plans Officer to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii and the Philippines.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the principal authority for theater-level medical planning and provides strategic oversight for health service support operations.
- Approve comprehensive medical evacuation architectures and authorize the implementation of complex casualty response strategies.
- Validate mission-critical Medical Plans and serve as the final authority for the integration of medical assets into larger operations.
- Manages the synchronization of medical logistics and personnel recovery efforts in the USPACOM AOR.
- Approve the medical annexes for Project Plans and coordinate with Mission Partners to synchronize theaterwide health services.
- Lead the strategic analysis of medical readiness data to refine program-wide operational health posture and mission success.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or a related field and 12+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
- Advanced professional certifications.
- Must hold an active Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration.
- Experience as a Medical Operations Officer (70H) or equivalent in a SOF environment.
- Program Manager Professional (PMP) certification.
Physical Requirements
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
