Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to medical assistants
- Schedule and assign medical assistants to ensure appropriate staffing
- Train medical assistants and others, serving as a resource to other clinical providers
- Participate in the interview process for medical assistants and other clinical hires
- Train and orient new employees
- Manage clinic flow using organizational skills to prioritize work tasks, ensuring patients are seen in a timely manner and clinic needs are met
- Provide accurate, appropriate, and culturally sensitive education to clinic patients
- Oversee coordination of care by assisting providers in maintaining clinic processes to ensure timely follow-up on reported test results
- Perform related duties as required
Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assistant course accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or other recognized regional or national accreditation board OR equivalent
- Must be Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified or achieve this designation within 6 months of hire (failure to do so will result in termination of employment)
- Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card

Pay
- Pay Range Minimum: $30.92 hourly
- Pay Range Maximum: $44.26 hourly
