The Role
We are seeking a compassionate Lead Medical Assistant to join our team in St. Louis, MO to help deliver exceptional care to our patients. This full-time role involves assisting with patient care, maintaining smooth clinic operations, and ensuring accurate medical records. What You’ll Do
- Manage patient flow from check in to patient care area.
- Answer phones and greet, check in, and direct patients and visitors.
- Check and document vital signs and escort patients to exam rooms.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during clinical procedures.
- Perform phlebotomy (venipuncture/blood draws), order tests, and prepare specimens for send-out.
- Maintain accurate patient records and accounts.
- Manage inventory of office and clinical supplies and reorder as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office required, with 1 of those years being in a Medical Assistant role.
- Phlebotomy skills required.
- Current CPR/BLS certification required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Adherence to all policies, HIPAA regulations, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.
- Infertility or OB/GYN office experience preferred.
Schedule
This is a full-time position based in St. Louis, MO. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, with one weekend shift in the OR per month (Saturday or Sunday).
