Lead Med-Tech

Evergreen Village Prescott, a senior living community in Prescott, AZ, is seeking a CERTIFIED Caregiver/Med-Tech to serve as the Team Leader on the weekend shift.

About the Role

A Team Leader works directly with the Health Services Director, leading team members and maintaining a high quality of services for the overnight shift. Team Leaders collaborate with staff to provide ADL care, partner with community leadership in Quality Management, and work with other Team Leaders on department-specific tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, coordinating, and performing tasks on the service plan according to the resident’s preferences and abilities.
• Maintain and document in the Medication Assistance Record.
• Read and implement care/activities of daily living (ADLs) according to the resident service plan.
• Respond to resident needs, pendant calls, and other community alarms in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate empathy and develop caring rapport with residents while promoting independence and self-care.
• Deliver care and services in accordance with individual service plans for all assigned residents.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of care delivered.
• Complete incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Understand and follow policies pertaining to safety and infection control, demonstrating practices to control the spread of communicable illnesses.
• Promote a clean, orderly, and safe environment; assist housekeeping and maintenance staff as needed.
• Recognize, respond to, and report concerns in the resident’s environment to ensure safety and comfort.

Requirements

• Arizona Caregiver Certification and two years of experience in senior living.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a passion for working with seniors, a desire to provide the best possible care, and expert-level organization and team-building skills.

Skills

• Proven experience as a caregiver (3-5 years).
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR).
