Responsibilities
- Lead and provide outstanding leadership and support to the massage therapy team to ensure a five-star luxury experience for all spa guests.
- Administer professional massage and body treatments to guests, possessing a thorough knowledge of various massage modalities and being willing to train in specific spa offerings.
- Communicate effectively and educate guests about wellness concerns.
- Be flexible with schedules, supporting the spa's needs.
- Properly care for equipment and use appropriate amounts of product for cost control.
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of all spa services and products.
- Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards as per law and spa policies.
- Perform prep work, clean and restock rooms as needed.
- Communicate any issues involving staff or guests requiring attention to management.
- Promote the spa, treatments, services, and retail offerings.
- Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests.
- Work without direct supervision, maintaining a positive attitude and contributing to a quality work environment.
- Absolutely attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings.
- Assist in all areas of spa operations as requested by management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a luxury spa.
- Current Massage License in the State of Florida.
- Agree to be listed as the DEM (Designated Massage Establishment Manager) for the State of Florida.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain high standards of guest service.
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks, think clearly, and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic math and money handling skills.
- Enthusiasm for working with people and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Computer skills, including basic typing and moderate to advanced computer skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, constantly changing environment and multitask.
