Lead - Marketing Platforms & Personalization Strategist
About the role
As the Lead - Marketing Platforms & Personalization Strategist, you will deliver best-in-class channel strategies and new marketing personalization capabilities, unlocking value for our customers, clients, and organization. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will support the tactical business enablement of a transformative roadmap, ensuring executional delivery of our Martec and other related value stream initiatives tied to omni-channel marketing. Your focus will be on evolving our marketing capabilities, channels, media, and platforms to enable personalized customer experiences while driving business growth through acquisition, customer engagement, and retention strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop marketing channel capabilities as part of our Operating Product Model and/or with external vendors to advance personalization of cross-channel marketing tactics.
- Manage vendor relationships associated with channel platforms or Martec capabilities, oversee invoice and expense reconciliation, and implement process optimizations.
- Collaborate with Acquisition and ECM marketing teams to integrate marketing platform, process, or new capability opportunities into the marketing planning cycle, serving as the SME for channel marketing standards, capabilities, and best practices.
- Proactively monitor acquisition performance trends across partners, products, and channels. Collaborate with Analytics and CDAO to develop or build channel-level performance trends, insights, and learning agendas for new capabilities. Share performance insights with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with MCOE, Digital, Risk, Fraud, Client Partnerships, and other cross-functional team leads to define tactical business requirements supporting the Marketing Value Stream operating model, process enhancements, and campaign efficiencies.
- Support and lead, as appropriate, the coordination of leadership materials to ensure organizational visibility on acquisition trends, opportunities, and progress toward goals.
- Implement necessary legal, compliance, and ERM practices and/or documentation to remove barriers to execution and mitigate regulatory concerns.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 8-10 years of experience in credit, loyalty, or marketing roles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field of study (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in omnichannel marketing (preferred).
- 3+ years leading projects with cross-functional coordination and delegation responsibilities (preferred).
- Experience driving a strategy roadmap for marketing technology and capability enablement, especially Adobe-centric solutions (preferred).
- Experience with Adobe marketing platforms and content workflow tools such as Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager, and Adobe Journey Optimizer (preferred).
- Experience with AI-enabled tools and emerging automation capabilities (preferred).

Work Environment
- Normal office environment (Remote or Hybrid).
- 3 to 4 days per month required in-office if within 60 miles of a posted Bread Financial location.
- Ability to travel up to 5% annually.
- Physical and mental requirements include communicating, hearing, talking, stationary seated position, typing, writing, and focusing on tasks with speed or productivity metrics.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $112,400.00 - $179,900.00. The actual base pay may depend on factors such as work location, education, experience, and skills. Location-specific ranges are as follows:
- California: $129,300.00 - $224,900.00
- Colorado: $112,400.00 - $197,900.00
- New York: $123,600.00 - $224,900.00
- Washington: $123,600.00 - $206,900.00
- Maryland: $123,600.00 - $197,900.00
- Washington DC: $129,300.00 - $206,900.00
- Illinois: $112,400.00 - $197,900.00
- New Jersey: $129,300.00 - $206,900.00
- Vermont: $112,400.00 - $179,900.00
- Ohio: $112,400.00 - $179,900.00
- Maine: $112,400.00 - $179,900.00
- Connecticut: $123,600.00 - $197,900.00
- Virginia: $112,400.00 - $179,900.00
You must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
