Lead Marine Diesel Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
• Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns
• Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes

Requirements

• Commitment to safety and cleanliness
• Physical demands: prolonged periods of standing and/or walking, occasional heavy lifting and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds (or more)
• Good vision and effective communication skills
• Able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present
• Able to work in areas with temperature and/or humidity extremes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a technician preferred, but not required
• Inboard experience a plus

Skills

• Skilled in diagnosing and repairing marine vehicles and equipment
• Proficient in using OEM software and tools
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Pay

$45+ Hiring Bonus up to $5,000 DOE
