Key Responsibilities
- Lead enrolment of advanced, high-impact technology companies into the ETV programme across priority sectors.
- Act as the primary interface with global technology providers, including founders, CTOs, and senior leadership teams.
- Oversee the end-to-end technology commercialisation lifecycle within the ETV framework.
- Design and manage India and emerging-market-specific technology validation and market-entry pathways.
- Structure and oversee First-of-a-Kind (FOAK) commercial demonstration projects, including partner selection and risk allocation.
- Develop strategies for Nth-of-a-Kind (NOAK) replication and scale-up across India and other emerging markets.
- Liaise with Indian and international OEMs, EPC contractors, and supply-chain partners to build localisation and delivery ecosystems.
- Lead indigenisation strategies for manufacturing processes, components, and system integration.
- Cook up coordination with project development teams to align technology readiness with project pipelines.
- Apply and oversee TRL / CRL (Technology Readiness Level / Commercial Readiness Level) scoring methodologies.
- Assess technology performance, scalability, cost curves, and localisation potential.
- Develop and evaluate technology monetisation models, including licensing, JV structures, EPC-led deployment, and platform-based scaling.
- Guide IP strategy including licensing, protection, freedom-to-operate assessments, and India-specific adaptations.
- Ensure robust documentation, governance, and stakeholder alignment across the ETV process.
- Represent the ETV programme in high-level engagements with government bodies, investors, multilateral agencies, and global partners.
- Contribute to programme design, continuous improvement, and strategic positioning of ETV nationally and internationally.
Qualifications & Eligibility
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in technology commercialisation, industrial deployment, climate-tech, infra-tech, advanced manufacturing, or related domains.
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Science (mandatory).
- Postgraduate qualification: MBA / MSc / MTech (mandatory).
Core Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of technology commercialisation and scale-up pathways (FOAK to NOAK).
- Strong grasp of technology monetisation and deployment models.
- Proven experience in indigenisation and localisation of manufacturing and supply chains.
- Hands-on familiarity with TRL / CRL frameworks and technology assessment methodologies.
- Strong understanding of intellectual property management in cross-border contexts.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with board-level presentation capability.
- High proficiency in project and programme management.
- Ability to operate independently in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
