About the role
The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities in the San Antonio Northeast Side area. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of facility maintenance procedures.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance tasks to ensure all facilities are operating efficiently.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to schedule and manage maintenance projects.
- Train and mentor junior technicians to improve overall facility maintenance standards.
- Document all maintenance activities and report findings to management.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facility maintenance or related field.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
