Lead Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a lead maintenance technician in Tyler, TX for a 104‑unit property. You will maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of the apartment complex for current and prospective residents, supporting day‑to‑day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Our company emphasizes a team approach and expects every person to perform any reasonable task that helps fulfill company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Being on‑call for 24‑hour maintenance emergencies
• Completing grounds work such as trash pick‑up and light landscaping
• Assisting with various types of maintenance: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Multifamily experience and HVAC certification
• Provide and use own tools
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Pre‑employment screening includes drug testing and background checks
