Responsibilities
- Aid in leading and supervising crews
- Manage the work order system and ensure tasks are scheduled and completed
- Vet and review jobs to prioritize and specify each job
- Act as backup to the Maintenance Foreman
- Maintain and repair dehydrators, change filters, check pumps and fluid levels
- Routinely clean and wash compressor skids and other process equipment
- Troubleshoot production equipment issues
- Change small valves and threaded piping
- Maintain plants and facility locations/roads
- Maintain backhoes and trailers as needed
- Help lease operators with small projects
- Coordinate and pig pipelines as needed
- Maintain and clean crew trucks and tools
- Perform required computer work and reports
- Work safely and productively
Requirements
- Previous oilfield experience required
- Preferred: Valid CDL
- Goal-driven and forward-thinking
- Ability to learn and retain task knowledge
- Heavy equipment experience a plus
- Steady work history and strong work ethic
- Competency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook Express
Physical Demands and Exposures
- Regularly perform in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat
- Near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust
- Exposure to noise levels requiring hearing protection
- Prolonged sitting, standing, walking
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to individually lift up to 100 lbs.
- Exposure to gas, liquid hydrocarbons, and salt water
