What You'll Be Responsible For
- Leading, training, and coordinating maintenance technicians and vendors
- Managing work orders, turnovers, inspections, and preventive maintenance
- Performing hands-on maintenance work across residential properties including:
- Plumbing repairs
- Electrical troubleshooting & minor repairs
- HVAC maintenance/troubleshooting
- Drywall, painting, carpentry, doors/windows
- General property upkeep & repairs
- Conducting move-out / turnover inspections and ensuring units are rent-ready
- Managing materials, supplies, tools, and maintenance documentation
- Updating work orders and maintenance activity in AppFolio (or similar systems)
- Communicating professionally with residents, vendors, and internal team members
Requirements
- Strong hands-on maintenance experience (property, facilities, residential, commercial, or multifamily)
- Experience across multiple trades: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, general repairs
- Experience leading or coordinating technicians, vendors, or small crews
- Ability to prioritize work independently and stay organized
- Comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with rolling up your sleeves when needed
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and personal tools
Benefits
- Compensation & Schedule: $30–35/hr (W2)
- Performance Bonus: Up to 10% annually
- Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
