About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team within our Ypsilanti Plant at 775 James L Hart Parkway.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance operations during the first (1st.) shift
- Lead a team of technicians through their daily assignments and tasks
- Ensure facilities and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with OEM guidelines for equipment care and maintenance
- Sustain a proactive approach toward PM compliance, Planned Work Order Execution, and the continuous improvement drive toward sustainable reliability centered maintenance
- Ensure systems and equipment continue to operate as required in their current operating context
- Focus on and identify critical functions, potential failures of devices, assemblies, and systems
- Assist with determining the most effective maintenance strategies to prevent or mitigate failures
- Coordinate daily/weekly/monthly planning of scheduled maintenance activities
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in the industrial maintenance field
- Good to Excellent Ability and Skill Levels with:
- Understanding of Automation
- Electrical Systems, both equipment and facility
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in Lighting, Plumbing, HVAC, Compressed Air, and Electrical Distribution systems
