Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily maintenance operations and ensure equipment and facilities are kept in optimal condition.
- Combine hand-on maintenance duties with supervisory responsibilities, providing guidance and support to the maintenance technicians.
- Train and mentor maintenance technicians, ensuring proper maintenance procedures are followed.
- Delegate work orders and ensure timely and quality completion.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment or facilities systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to OSHA, local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance logs, inspections, and repairs.
- Collaborate with management on maintenance priorities and long-term facility needs.
- Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
- Communicate issues, progress, and needs effectively with staff and leadership.
- Cook up and assist with internal moves.
- Provide on-call emergency support on a rotating schedule as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Five (5) years experience in residential/commercial maintenance and proven experience in electrical, plumbing, and general carpentry repairs.
- One (1) year of leadership experience.
- A working knowledge to perform the duties noted above.
- Excellent references, both personal and work.
- A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- Pass a comprehensive physical exam.
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. without restriction.
- Pass Act 33, 34, and FBI Clearances.
