Lead Maintenance Mechanic - Early Morning Weekend Shift - Offering $5,000 Sign on Bonus!

About the role

As a Maintenance Lead, you’ll collaborate with the Maintenance team to perform building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and work order fulfillment. You’ll ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while maintaining inventory, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping standards. Responsibilities

• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts
• Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic, steam, and pneumatic equipment
• Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment
• Perform building maintenance, including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery such as extruders, mixers, conveyors, and metal detectors
• Assess and repair electrical issues as they arise

Requirements

• 5–10 years of maintenance mechanic experience, preferably in food industrial or bakery environments
• High school diploma or GED required; apprenticeship or applicable certifications preferred
• Technical knowledge in one or more of the following:
  • Stainless steel welding/fabrication
  • High-speed packaging, welding, refrigeration (ammonia), and mechanical power transmission
  • Use of welding, cutting, machine, and hand tools
  • PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
  • Strong electrical experience
  • Process control instrumentation
  • Process equipment
  • Personal computing

Pay

$38.18 per hour, plus an additional $3.00 per hour lead pay.

Schedule

Early morning weekend shift: Friday–Monday, 2:00 AM–12:00 PM.
