Electrician - Day Shift - Offering $5,000 Sign on Bonus!

About the role

Kerry is the world's leading taste and nutrition company for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. This position is based in Niagara Falls, NY, at a site that produces organic salts, including propionates and acetates, serving Pharmaceutical, Food, Feed, and Technical Industries. The schedule is a Day Shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Help keep the plant running safely and reliably by maintaining and repairing site property, utilities, and production equipment.
• Maintain the electrical power distribution system.
• Maintain instrumentation and control systems.
• Perform electrical repairs on plant equipment.
• Support building services and general repairs.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in work areas.
• Analyze problems and troubleshoot equipment to resolve issues quickly.
• May be required to move or lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required knowledge: Electrical theory; motor control and wiring; PID loop and instrumentation basics; basic understanding of PLC systems and troubleshooting components; ability to read electrical drawings; understanding of NEC codes; strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience.

Skills

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $28.98-$41.46 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role.
