Responsibilities
- Quickly address and resolve issues during production, including equipment malfunctions, quality control problems, or safety concerns.
- Maintain production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Lead changeovers and set up equipment for different product sizes.
- Troubleshoot, make adjustments, and perform minor repairs for mechanical equipment.
- Use hand tools and fix belts.
- Work with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure production meets QA standards.
- Train new operators on equipment operation and minor adjustments.
- Prepare machines for efficient use and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
- Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of machine conversion processes.
- Experience or training in problem-solving, conflict resolution, company policy, and effective communication.
- Prior leadership experience (icing on the cake).
