LEAD, KITCHEN UTILITY (FULL AND PART TIME)

Location: Saint John Fisher University, 3690 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618

Schedule

Full-time and part-time schedules available. Example shifts: Wednesday and Sunday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am. Additional details provided upon interview.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of food service and dishroom experience is required
• Willingness to be trained to department standards

Responsibilities

• Assist shift supervisors and department directors in the day-to-day function of the department
• Maintain high quality in all aspects of department duties by training, supporting, supervising, and interacting with team members
• Ensure all schedules are assigned and completed daily
• Set a positive example through professional interactions with team members, customers, patients, and families
• Deliver quality customer service with one-on-one attention to detail
• Provide assignments and assistance to team members
• Demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment
• Relieve shift supervisor in times of absence
• Adjust or cover schedules as needed during short staffing
• Ensure team members maintain set standards by conducting quality assurance surveys
• Monitor and report equipment issues or shortages
• Conduct customer and patient surveys
• Interact with patients/customers in an age-appropriate manner
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or director

Pay

Pay range: $18.00 per hour to $19.50 per hour
