KITCHEN UTILITY LEAD (FULL TIME)
Location
Northern Kentucky University, 20 Campbell Drive, Highland Heights, KY 41099.
Schedule
Full‑time schedule; Sunday through Thursday, 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
Pay
Fixed Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.
Requirements
Prior dishroom experience is a plus.
Job Summary
Assist shift supervisors and department directors in the day‑to‑day function of the department. Maintain a high level of quality in all aspects of department duties by training, supporting, supervising, and interacting with department team members. Ensure that all schedules are assigned and completed daily. Set a positive example through professional interactions with team members, customers, patients, and families. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or director. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality customer service by providing one‑on‑one attention to detail.
- Provide assignments and assistance to team members.
- Demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment in all aspects of job performance.
- Relieve shift supervisor in times of absence.
- Adjust or cover schedules as needed during short‑staffing periods.
- Conduct quality‑assurance surveys to ensure team members maintain set standards.
- Monitor and report any equipment issues or shortages.
- Conduct customer and patient surveys.
- Interact with patients/customers in an age‑appropriate manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or director.
