Lead Java Developer

About the role

We are seeking a strong Java backend developer with expertise in core Java concepts, design patterns, and frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate. This role involves collaborating with product management and technical teams to translate requirements into technical specifications, reverse-engineering documentation or code to migrate it into a new tech stack, and contributing to code reviews and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and product requirements into technical specifications
• Reverse-engineer existing documentation or code to migrate it into a modern tech stack
• Conduct code reviews and define quality standards
• Mentor and coach development team members
• Design scalable and maintainable system architectures
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
• Actively manage the team, assign tasks, and resolve technical roadblocks
• Analyze complex problems and implement solutions
• Work within Agile development principles and practices
