Responsibilities
- Manage device procurement, configuration, shipping, tracking, maintenance, and lifecycle management for company laptops and IT equipment.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including account creation, device provisioning, software setup, access permissions, and secure deactivation of accounts/devices.
- Administer internal software systems, SaaS platforms, licenses, user accounts, and access permissions across the organization.
- Maintain and organize SharePoint environments, shared drives, folder structures, permissions, and internal documentation repositories.
- Implement and maintain IT security processes, including MFA, password management, endpoint security, access reviews, and device security controls.
- Manage role-based access controls to ensure employees have appropriate system access based on business needs.
- Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, cloud platforms, connectivity, and employee account-related issues.
- Cook up with IT vendors, software providers, hardware suppliers, and external support partners.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, SOPs, onboarding/offboarding guides, asset trackers, and security documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and scale internal IT workflows and operational processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, internal IT operations, or related functions.
- Hands-on experience managing employee laptops, software tools, user accounts, permissions, and IT asset inventories.
- Familiarity with productivity and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Google Workspace, or equivalent systems.
- Understanding of IT security fundamentals, including MFA, password management, endpoint security, and access governance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, networking, and cloud-based systems.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities and workflows simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with a service-oriented mindset when supporting internal employees.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting remote or globally distributed teams.
- Familiarity with device management platforms, MDM solutions, and endpoint security tools.
- Experience managing SaaS licenses, software provisioning, and software access governance.
- Experience designing and documenting IT policies, security procedures, and onboarding/offboarding workflows.
- Exposure to compliance, data security, audit readiness, or access governance processes.
- Experience supporting fast-growing startups, research firms, consulting organizations, financial services firms, or technology-focused companies.
