Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Leads and oversees IT internal auditors throughout all three phases of the project; planning, execution and reporting
- Leads the team in assembling high-quality audit reports for presentation to senior management
- Leads the monitoring and tracking of remediation plans and follow-up actions to validate implementation and risk mitigation
- Maintains effective relationships with all levels of company associates and outside vendors, and other business-related representatives
- Escalates resource challenges and other conflicts to audit management
- Coaches staff auditors by providing candid and constructive feedback
- Supports data compilation and other tasks related to the annual audit planning, as assigned by audit management
- Performs assigned tasks for initiatives and department projects in accordance with established milestones
Experience & Educational Requirements
- Requires broad training in fields such as Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or other IT-related vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor's Degree.
- CISA, CISSP, CIPP, PMP, or CFE or MBA or Masters in Information Security and Cybersecurity is desirable.
- Normally requires a minimum of seven (7) years directly related IT audit and progressively responsible experience.
- Possess a high energy level and strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic and changing environment that strives to exceed expectations
- Strong leadership and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment
- Ability to reason logically, analyze data presented, evaluate the impact of information collected, and draw appropriate conclusions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
- Knowledge in relevant information technology field such as, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Windows 0365, databases (Oracle, SQL), Cloud Services, 3rd Party hosted services, Patch Management, Application Development, SDLC, Project Management, Firewalls, Business Continuity, and IT Operations.
- Experience working with ERP systems is a plus (e.g. SAP)
