Essential Functions
- Act as the Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead for development of test procedures which includes completing process reviews, adhering to program-specific criteria, and working in conjunction with systems engineering
- Navigate complex, fast-moving government contract environment with multiple stakeholders, managing technical coordination across contractor teams, government customers, and coalition partners
- Respond rapidly to evolving customer requirements and program priorities, maintaining technical rigor while meeting aggressive timelines in a high-tempo operational environment
- Manage interface control and requirements flow-down across distributed teams and multiple contract vehicles
- Communicate and interface regularly with other IPTs, senior leadership, program management teams, other contractors, and customer
- Conduct root cause analysis and lead technical tiger teams to rapidly resolve critical program technical risks and issues
- Translate complex technical test results and system performance data into executive-ready briefings for senior military and government leadership
- Work with Systems Engineers to identify requirements and ensure they are testable
- Create draft and final versions of RVTMs
- Lead all Verification and Validation activities in the development of program work packages
- Track progress and velocity using JIRA or other status tools for reporting to the government customer
- Develop initial test cases during work package creation
- Ensure proper process and documentation policies are applied to the work package creation
- Communicate and interface regularly with internal/external customers and program management
- Develop and execute test procedures and report results to management team and customer
- Identify test risks and opportunities and report to the program leadership team
- Lead and develop your team members at technical and professional levels
- Review and evaluate Work Package RFP’s from the customer
- Develop Work Package response proposal for test support effort
- Work technical issues to closure using a robust engineering process
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Active U.S. Government Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance
- Background in communications, RF systems, or complex networked defense systems
- Experience with Telecommunication Test Equipment (Central Office/Optical/TDM/IP)
- Experience working on complex government contracts with multiple stakeholders (contractors, government customers, military leadership)
- Experience with government acquisition programs, requirements management, and interface control documentation
- Python scripting and automation experience for test frameworks, data analysis, and reporting
- Experience with Git-based CI/CD pipelines and version control in DevSecOps environments
- Experience in Kubernetes/Helm, Ansible/Terraform or any deployment automation technology, AWS
