About the role
Correlation One is building and delivering the training program for a new tool that plans and optimizes retail promotions across multiple global markets. The program teaches employees involved in promotion planning — reviewing past promotions, building new ones, and using analytics to optimize them — how to use the tool through a realistic, hands‑on promotional planning scenario. A core goal is to establish consistent, harmonized promotional terminology and processes across markets, replacing fragmented, market‑specific approaches.
Responsibilities
- Lead training sessions that walk learners through a hands‑on promotional planning scenario using the client’s proprietary tool.
- Prepare for deliveries: review full‑day (~4‑5 hours) and half‑day (~2 hours) decks, develop talking points, and practice delivery for the first session of each type.
- Attend a 45‑minute onboarding session with the Correlation One team to review content and answer questions.
- Complete TBD training on the client‑specific tool.
- Participate in a dry‑run session to walk through key sections, build confidence with the material, and test the virtual meeting link for tech readiness.
- Attend additional meetings as needed to align on client readiness and address final questions.
- Perform set‑up tasks to gain access to client platforms for program delivery.
Requirements
- Background in marketing, sales, or business analysis.
- Familiarity with promotional/sales planning nomenclature (e.g., promotion mechanics, retail sales terminology).
- Ability to explain promotional performance metrics (ROI, sales lift, incrementality) in plain business terms.
- Proven ability to learn a client’s proprietary tool quickly and demo it live with confidence, including when the tool misbehaves.
- Experience running hands‑on exercises where participants work in the tool themselves.
- Experience delivering engaging training sessions in a virtual environment.
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted planning tools and understanding where the tool’s recommendation ends and the planner’s judgment begins.
- Strong leadership presence, organizational skills, and professional delivery.
Skills
- Explain promotional performance metrics clearly to non‑technical audiences.
- Learn and demonstrate proprietary tools confidently, even when issues arise.
- Design and facilitate hands‑on exercises that let learners work directly in the tool.
- Deliver interactive, virtual training that keeps participants engaged.
- Understand AI‑assisted planning tools and the balance between automation and human judgment.
- Lead sessions with confidence, organize materials effectively, and maintain a professional demeanor.
Schedule
- Training deliveries anticipated in Q4.
- Total of 30 sessions: 10 full‑day + 20 half‑day instructor‑led deliveries.
- Exact dates and times are to be determined (TBD).
