Lead Instructional Assistant-Extended Day Program

Job Summary BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned Administrator, oversee and provide guidance in the coordination of Extended Day Program operations at assigned sites; assist with approved academic and enrichment class activities; provide a safe and nurturing environment for student achievement; train, support and provide guidance to Extended Day Program personnel; and related work as required. Minimum Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years' experience working with children in an educational, recreational or child care setting. Licenses And Other Requirements Valid California driver’s license. Valid First Aid/CPR certification. NOTE: The ability to speak Spanish is required for some locations. A bilingual proficiency exam is part of the examination process for those candidates who selected an interest in testing for this particular skill. A 2.5% bilingual stipend would be added to the base pay at time of hire, where needed.
