Core Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Behavioral Health staff in clinical and administrative settings.
- Participate in and support the clinical assessments process.
Essential Duties
- Provide individual and group supervision to Behavioral Health staff.
- Review caseload assignment with supervisees on a weekly basis.
- Evaluate individual and overall team performance regularly.
- Ensure quality clinical documentation and therapeutic services.
- Communicate program and administrative expectations to supervisees.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal mandates.
- Provide case consultations to improve quality of care.
- Support staff development through annual planning and trainings.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and identify areas for improvement.
- Consult with Supervisor and HR regarding employee issues.
- Keep up-to-date with best practices in community mental health.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including psychosocial diagnostic assessments.
- Participate in and provide input on service and program improvements.
- Assist with weekend AOC and respond to calls or texts.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work or equivalent in a recognized mental health field.
- Texas Licensed LCSW, LPC, LMFT, required.
- Year experience in inpatient setting preferred.
- Skills in case management, time management, and crisis intervention.
- Knowledge of acute psychological disorders and abnormal psychology.
- Proven leadership abilities.
