Lead Therapist- Outpatient

About the role

Lifepoint Behavioral Health, a nationally recognized healthcare organization with a diverse network of facilities across the country, is seeking a Lead Outpatient Therapist to join their dedicated team in Triangle Springs, Raleigh, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling therapies to patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse disorders, including group, individual, and family sessions.
• Achieve treatment plan goals with patients and document progress accurately and consistently.
• Demonstrate proactive communication with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff.
• Create thorough discharge plans for patients that meet their post-treatment needs and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with the utilization review department to manage patient length of stay and treatment plans.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 compliance.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and outside referral sources.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling or relevant licensure in state of practice.
• Current unencumbered state licensure per state requirements.
• CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
