Lead Injury Prevention Specialist/Physical Therapy Assistant

About the role

RUSH Physical Therapy is hiring a Full-time Physical Therapy Assistant/Lead Injury Prevention Specialist at Chicago O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, IL. This position supports American Airlines employees in maintaining their high-demand roles.

Responsibilities

• Support employees in managing workplace injuries and discomfort through assessment, triage, and first aid application.
• Conduct ergonomic risk assessments and implement solutions to prevent workplace injuries.
• Provide job coaching and behavior modification in both 1:1 and group settings to enhance employee performance.
• Offer education and training on various injury prevention topics relevant to the workplace.
• Assess and document employee encounters, and communicate findings to both clients and leadership.
• Communicate regularly with both the client and leadership to ensure effective service delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience.
• CPR certification.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Skills

Pay

$56,000 - $64,000 annually, based on years of experience.
