Lead in Training

About the role

We’re looking for AV Technicians who want to learn and grow. AV technicians are responsible for ensuring audio, video, lighting, and control systems are installed in accordance with EA standards and APEx standards under the supervision of a project lead or lead in training.

Responsibilities

• Install projects on time, on budget, and in accordance with industry standards
• Ensure work is done safely
• Develop your audio, video, and lighting skills

Requirements

• Able to perform physically challenging work requiring strong mechanical skills in all environments, amid stressful situations and deadlines
• Reliable means of transportation and smartphone
• Available to work overtime, out of town, evenings, and weekends as needed to support clients
• Basic knowledge of sound, acoustics, video, lighting, and basic power systems
• Skilled with Microsoft software
• Commitment to learning, growth, and development

Training expectations for this role include earning the AV Technologist certificate and completing AVIXA’s Essentials of AV and Project Management for AV courses.

Pay

Compensation range: $18–$24/hr
