About the role

Mechanical Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking a Lead Installer to lead residential and commercial HVAC installation projects. The position is full‑time based in Dearborn Heights, MI, with a pay range of $25–$35 per hour plus performance‑based bonus. A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day field operations for residential and commercial heating and cooling installation projects.
• Execute precise equipment replacements, retrofits, and system setups following rigid safety standards.
• Coordinate daily jobsite logistics to maintain strict project execution timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Troubleshoot real‑time mechanical challenges on‑site to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
• Mentor junior technicians and apprentices to foster technical growth and team safety compliance.
• Represent company core values of professionalism, quality workmanship, and exceptional service on every jobsite.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in mechanical HVAC field installations.
• Proven background successfully completing complex residential or commercial heating and cooling projects.
• Strong ability to read technical schematics, system layouts, and manufacturer installation specifications.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of working hours to dynamic jobsite locations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field teams or managing jobsite workflows in a primary installer role.
• Advanced knowledge of modern high‑efficiency HVAC equipment and control systems.
• Demonstrated history of continuous technical education and manufacturer training certifications.

Pay
